Dear Guests,

We are closely monitoring the Bulgarian health authorities and World Health Organization’s statements regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and following guidelines from these agencies and the local health departments.

With this background, it is important to ensure that our guests, friends and partners stay safe and healthy in these challenging times.

Travel Flexibility

We are constantly updating оur cancellation policy to reflect the most recent developments related to the COVID-19 and to offer our guests as much flexibility and planning comfort as possible.

- For all new bookings please noted that we are offering very flexible conditions so that you can feel at ease when planning and booking your trip. You can see these in our online booking portal.

Travel Safety

Our highest priority is the safety and security of the guests staying at the hotel as well as our staff. In this regard, we take the strictest measures and the highest standards for hygiene and cleaning.

Due to the Covid-19 virus spread we have taken many additional measures recommended by healthcare organizations to ensure that the hygiene of the hotel is at the highest possible level.

Also as per a statement from the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) Bulgaria is part of the tourism destinations with safety and hygiene travel stamp. Safe Travels stamp allows to differentiate destinations with enhanced standards for safe travel.

AVAIALBLE SERVICES AND FACLITIES NOW- UPDATED /21/09/2021/: At the moment in the resort the following services and facilities are available:

  • Hotel Accommodation /advance reservation is mandatory | the hotel does not accept walk-in guests/
  • Le Passage a la carte restaurant for hotel guests /reservation highly recommended/ 12:00-22:30 --for breakfast (07:00-10:00), lunch (12:30-14:00) and dinner (19:00-21:30)

*For all services and facilities advance reservation at least 24h is required, so number of people using them can be control and social distancing assured.

**Please note the following details:

  • Depending on the hotel occupancy the guest on Half Board or All-inclusve are served either on set menu or buffet.
  • Depending on the hotel occupancy and due to limitation in the capacity of the restaurant 2 seatings during breakfast and dinner can be arranged. Choosing the period is done on site an on first come first serve basis
  • The Restaurant is working until 23:00

ENTERING BULGAIRA

You can enter Bulgaria without quarantine from European Countries and low risk countries by the following means

  • Vaccination Certificate
  • Negative PCR or Antigen test done 72 h before arrival
  • Document proving antibodies and past Covid-19 infection within the past 6 months

Of course, our usual warm service awaits you and we do everything to make your stay with us as pleasant and carefree as possible. At Lighthouse Golf & Spa Resort, the health and wellness of our guests and staff is our top priority, thus please be informed of all the measures and precautions that we are taking in this special situation.

In order to protect you and our employees and at the same time provide you with a relaxing holiday, we have extensively expanded our strict hygiene and safety standards and adapted them to this special situation. These measures and rules follow the guidelines of the local health authorities and the recommending of the WHO. We also follow current developments and adapt all our procedures accordingly.

We would now like to explain to you what these measures would mean for you from your booking to your check-out:

  • You don't have to make a binding commitment when you book through our website. We have released offers with very flexible cancellation policies from which you can benefit.
  • At our reception, plexiglass windows and masks protect you and our employees.
  • Following the instructions, we will introduce the use of masks and gloves for staff where necessary and recommended
  • Every employee, supplier or outside company representative when entering the hotel is being temperature screened
  • Room card, Ballpoint pens or similar items will be disinfected after each use
  • The furniture in the lobby and all common areas in the hotel and around the resort have been redesigned to order greater social distancing.
  • Our elevators should be used by a maximum of two people at the same time.
  • Clean and clean again: We have tightened the cleaning cycles in our hotel even more closely and disinfect light switches, elevator buttons and other surfaces in public areas regularly. The frequency of cleaning the common areas of the hotel, including: spa, conference rooms, lobby, locks, lifts, toilets in common areas, etc. using a certified hospital disinfectant. Our house-keeping department receives daily up-to-date operating instructions, which will be constantly updated as recommended by the government
  • In addition to that we use a bactericidal lamp, which destroys all pathogenic viruses and bacteria in the air, textile and all enclosed spaces to ensure a safe and peaceful stay
  • In the public areas you will find disinfectants. Our employees can also provide you with hand disinfectant.
  • In our guest rooms, we exchange all information documents, such as the mini bar menu, after each guest. For hygiene reasons, we do not use hotel brochures, flyers and city maps. You can find this information on our website or by calling our employees.
  • Of course, we disinfect items such as the TV remote control after each guest.
  • It is mandatory for our employees and guests to wear a mask. We also recommend it for your own safety.
  • We store and process our food and beverages in accordance with the current HACCP guidelines and additional official recommendations on food safety. We also plan to emphasize on outdoor dining by planning enough outdoor seating.
  • You can enjoy our hotel breakfast in the usual high quality and is served either on buffet or set menu depending on the seasonal demand
  • Please understand that due to the distance rules we can offer fewer seats in our restaurants and therefore ask you to make a reservation. We have extended our breakfast times accordingly.
  • Similar rules apply to lunch and dinner.
  • We strongly encourage you to do only cashless payments.
  • In our wellness center and fitness center, you can also rely on appropriate distance arrangements and increased hygiene measures.
  • Notices in public areas to inform guests about the current situation and protective measures they can take
  • All guests are monitored for signs and symptoms upon check-in and a non-contact thermometer is available upon request, should you wish to check your temperature
  • All staff is remained the importance of frequent hand cleaning with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water, avoiding close physical contact and maintain social distance from guest and other staff members
  • The buffets are redesigned and fitted according to the official recommendations from the WHO and the government
  • The lobby, restaurants and all common areas that are available to guests would be redesigned to offer greater social distancing
  • Some venues will remain closed until further notice
  • There is a special procedure for playing the golf course,
  • Sun beds and umbrellas at the pool and the beach would be rearranged to allow greater social distancing
  • The hotel would work with decreased room capacity, until further notice.

In addition to all these measures, we can assure you that we are prepared for an emergency. For one thing, our employees are strictly required to stay at home with the smallest symptoms of illness. On the other hand, they are trained to recognize signs from our guests that can indicate an infection. They will contact them immediately, separate them and contact the local health authorities. So please do not hesitate to inform our staff if you notice any signs.

If an illness actually occurs in the hotel, all measures to protect the health of the relevant persons and the safety of all other people in the hotel are defined in our emergency guidelines and our employees are trained accordingly. Adequate materials such as protective clothing and medical utensils are available in our hotel

Of course, we monitor the current situation at all times and adapt our actions with the necessary measures.
